This post is for my English 3303 class:
Please post a question or comment for Eliot Schrefer (aka E Archer).
Thanks,

PS: for those of you looking for my ARC giveaway, the information is here.

SPOILER ALERT!
E Archer,
At what point in the writing process of Geek Fantasy Novel did you know that your intrusive narrator would become an actual character? Did you plan that from the very beginning, or was it initially supposed to be an anonymous narrator?
Hi!
I was wondering why you chose the pseudonym E. Archer.
Thanks!
E. Archer,
Thank you for your book. What was it like creating the worlds (and underworld) that Ralph gets to visit? Did you plan it out in advance, or you just sort of started and went with it?
-Aly
E. Archer,
I really enjoyed your book, and felt that, as much as it was a satire, it was also something of an homage to classic fantasy novels. I especially liked that it became a “choose your own adventure” book, if only for a few pages. What are some of your favorite fantasy books/writers?
Geek Fantasy Novel was an awesome read! I really liked the unique identity of the Battersby’s children. Since they’re all different, do you know some of them from reality? For example, is Daphne’s “activness” based on someone you know?
(sry for the name mistake in the last comment)

E. Archer,
Do you find it easier to write stories completely from your imagination or do you fabricate your real life experiences? Thanks!!
Why did you decide to number the book with roman numerals? It was a very interesting choice and I found myself looking up online what the roman numeral L meant. Just curious.
I enjoyed the book a lot and the characters were weirdos in a good way.
How did you go about creating your character personalities? Do you write up a chart and draft out what traits belong to each character, or do you write and let their personalities develop over the course of the book?
Was the writing process for “Geek Fantasy Novel” any different from your other novels? If so, in what way was it different?
Where did you get your inspiration for this story?
Why did you choose to make wishes taboo in Ralph’s family? Why did you decide to reveal the damage they had done so early in the novel?
Did you have any favorite authors or stories which inspired you to write GFN?
Hi,
What inspired this story?
Do you prefer writing on paper or on your computer? And how long did it take you to finish this novel?
I really enjoyed your unique and engaging writing style! Any pointers? How many drafts did it take you to get to such a great finished product?
i write literary fiction.
how can i make a lot of money without transforming my words into whores?
Hi Mr. Archer,
I was curious on a few instances about your writing style. You seem to use parenthesis a lot and italics, i was wondering what inspired this in your work and is it something you often do?
Also, i’m curious to what inspired this novel? Maybe your own childhood fantasy? Where you trying to give voice to a group of kids (the geeks) who are misunderstood?
I loved Fantasy novel, but I was wondering as for the writing process what do you do when you’re experiencing writers block and did you experience writers block writing this book?
I love Kronos Chronicles
I heard that there is a third book, Jewel of the Kalderash. Is that new, or has it been out for a while? Will there be a fourth one?
Hi Tiffany,
JEWEL is new, and will be out in October. But if you’d like to win an advance reader copy, details are here:

Unfortunately, there will be no fourth book, but I hope that readers of the third book will feel satisfied at end that they have come on a complete journey. Petra’s story naturally ends with book 3, I think.
