My BSG Wishlist and Predictions

1. Wish: I want Kara and Lee to cut their hair! The only thing good about all that Caprica filler last week was seeing them with military hair.
Alas, the trailer for the last episode indicates they’ll both remain leonine. 
2. Wish/Prediction: Athena and Boomer fight, cylano a cylano, while Chief watches. Boomer might regret her choices and make some amends, but she’s still gotta pay.
3. Prediction: Obviously, that black hole isn’t just going to sit there. I’m guessing that Galactica will win the final battle, and then get sucked into the singularity and spat out on earth way back when, maybe in Greco-Roman times, thus sort of solving all the weird time stuff and fulfilling 3’s “This has all happened before, and will all happen again” mantra.
4. Prediction: Kara runs into her cylon dad Daniel while storming the colony.
5. Wish: that the episode would be 5 hours long! But it won’t. Only 2. Frak.
6. Wish: that the episode makes up for those pointless Caprica scenes! I’m still mad! What was up with Lee chasing after a bird? How was that relevant to anything?
Hi! I stumbled across your site while looking up the authors that will be in NY for the Teen Author festival. Since I’ll be in NYC I am hoping to come to the one at Books of Wonder.
Hubby and I love BSG. We are watching the finale NOW (and I need to be packing for my NY trip!)

It was so nice to meet you! And you were right: I was happy with the final BSG. There are a few things that I still don’t understand (e.g., how did Kara’s viper end up on the nuked Earth?), but I was satisfied with the big ideas. Also, I didn’t miss Lee and Kara with short hair! Their long locks suited the finale.
