Hi Marie. I just finished your book The Cabinet of Wonders. Both my mom and I enjoyed it. If I you asked me who my favorite character was it would be Astrophil. I’m also a book worm, I mean spider My mom says congratulations on the baby, and I’m looking forward to reading the new book.

Thanks so much for your comment! I’m so glad to know that Max liked The Cabinet of Wonders. Yes, there will be books 2 and 3. Book 2 is called The Celestial Globe, and it’s already written and edited. I just have to wait for it to be published.

If you come from Poland, perhaps Max might like to read The Trumpeter of Krakow? I haven’t read that book since I was a kid, but I remember enjoying it very much, and maybe Max would be interested in reading something connected to his ethnic heritage.

Hello,
We have found your book at the “Half price books ” store in Indianapolis sometime before Christmas. I was there with my 2 sons and a husband looking for good finds. As soon as I saw your book I thought it was going to be extaordinary. I showed it to my son Max- 8 year old who loves to read and we read the introduction at the store. The book “swallowed” us and we returned home with a GOOD READ.
My son had not put the book down till he was finished. He talked and talked about it and it seems your writting opened up the door to his imagination. Max wanted me to do a little research about you and as he noticed the book was numbered 1 so he hoped there will be maybe 2 and 3. I am going to read your book next since I have to run the house and have a little bit of time between midnight and 1 am to do my book discoveries.
If you feel like you can write my son a few words where you took your inspiration from that would be great.
I come from Poland and something weird pop up in my head whenever I say the name of your book or mention Kron’s clock. and I do not know what it is. I guess I may be slightly crazy. But who isn’t ?

Hi kristine! Thanks so much! Honestly, I can’t wait for the next book to come out either. It should be out august 5th, I think. As for more information about the sequel, I’ll post a brief summary and first chapter as soon as the very last edits are done and my editor says it’s ok.
