I Miss My School Buddies

Ah, footnote jokes! Savor the bookish humor! I sure do. That, above, is Kevin and Eric, two friends from my grad school years. Funny, funny people. I’m heading to Cambridge, MA this weekend in the hopes of seeing them and other creatures of the Barker Center. I miss my grad school friends. It’s like we were in the military together, except that, instead of learning how to clean a machine gun, we had to memorize alexandrine couplets by Pope (ugh). And instead of knowing what an IED is, we had to read Derrida (basically one and the same thing).
