Eclipse and WSJ
No, not “eclipse” as in Twilight. “Eclipse” as in really and truly, up in the air, out in the dark, slip of a shadow over the moon. Last night, while having dinner on the terrace, we noticed that the moon was being slowly eaten. There was a bit of a boy-girl debate.
Girls: That’s an eclipse.
Boys: That’s a cloud.
Girls: No way that’s a cloud. It’s an eclipse.
Then Thomas looked at the moon through binoculars and announced, “Yes, it is an eclipse,” at which point the male opposition folded. It was a very nice eclipse, too—not total, but about 85% (so said the internet).
In other news, The Wall Street Journal has a friendly write-up of Cabinet. Here it is.

They’ll savor it!
It just occurred to me that I can’t think of any other YA novels set in Bohemia. Huh.
